Happy Stix Together, Stronger than Ever

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Happy 65th independence to our beloved country Malaysia. Every year we know how much Malaysians love to celebrate this occasion not only because of the holiday but also to celebrate how far we have come together as a nation. As we all know, Malaysia is a multicultural country, we are privileged to experience the different cultures in Malaysia. Throughout the years, we have seen how Malaysians come together in celebrations that we incorporate even in our pretzel campaigns. Whether it is Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, and so on, we still see long queues of Malaysians coming together to try out new season pretzels or even admire the packaging that we tailored for the season.

Besides cultural sentiments, we cannot deny that Malaysians are brought together in many events. Sometimes we are even seen together supporting one another especially in sports such as badminton, soccer, and so much more. Of course, not to forget the biggest union we Malaysians would fight for is the food. Malaysians take pride in their food not just because of its taste, but also because of the unique culture that is brought in food. Many of our delicacies are a fusion of not only western plus eastern but also among each race in Malaysia. For example, we have chicken rice, mixed rice, nasi lemak, roti canai, and so on that’s loved by all Malaysians.

In conjunction with the patriotisme and love for the country as well as food, at Auntie Annes, we specially brought back again once more, our special curated packaging for the Nationals day. This packaging is to fit the 65th year of celebrating as a free country. Especially for this joyous occasion, we have incorporated our Jalur Gemilang flag colours. Red and white as stripes and dark blue as a background colour. Meanwhile, the logo is yellow, similar to our star and moon on the national flag.

Besides the unique packaging, this Merdeka, we would love to encourage the spirit of togetherness. Inspired by how Malaysians stick together when dealing with difficulties or even on good times, at Auntie Annes it reminds us of our Stix. Our Stix are made to be together and with the key message of togetherness, we want to remind all Malaysians of our love for the country and to stick together moving forward and build a better Malaysia. Hence, we named this season’s campaign as Happy Stix Together.

This Merdeka, we brought back again 4 limited time flavours of the stix from the past. The limited flavours respectively are Chocolate Mint Stix, Sour Cream and Onion Stix, Coffee Stix, and Green Tea Stix. A mix of sweet or savoury stix apart from the usual flavour is sure to keep you wanting for more. On top of the different flavours, you can now get two flavours for RM11!
